Hardship Fund

Here at Kingsmead, we are a tight knit community that truly believe in supporting each other wherever possible. Due to the cost-of-living crisis and other external factors we decided to launch our own, in school Hardship Fund. This fund is designed to support those in need with school related costs (such as uniform, equipment or trips).

This Hardship fund is built through fund raising and so far we have raised money from:

-          The Sponsored Walk

-          Proceeds from the year 7 photos

-          A non-uniform day

Below is the application form you can use to apply for the Hardship fund. Your child does not have to be Free School Meals or in receipt of the Pupil Premium to apply, however you will need to meet some criteria for us to ensure that funds are going to the right place.

The Hardship Fund will never be paid out in a cash amount, we will always provide the goods or pay directly to a trip for example. There is no limit to how many times you can apply but please be aware just because you qualify once, does not mean you will be accepted every time. Funds are tight and we need to ensure they allocated as effectively as possible.
