If you wish to apply for a place at Kingsmead School in September 2025 please follow this link.

Admision arrangements are being reviewed and will be available from 1st September 2024 for entry to Kingsmead 2025.

We intend to revert back to similar arrangements to previous years and not recently proposed changes, in light of a schools' adjudication.

For those parents planning on making Kingsmead School a preference, it will be important to review this information before 31st October 2024 so that an informed decision can be made in respect of their secondary school application.

Joining Kingsmead School

From September 2024 we are full with a waiting list for years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. Therefore it is important that you make Kingsmead your first place choice in order to ensure the best chance of getting a place at the school.

In Year Admissions

Any parent/carer who wishes to complete an in-year transfer to Kingsmead School should contact the school in the first instance. Further information can also be found on the Staffordshire County Council website.

If you wish to make an application you should complete the application form below and forward this to school. We will advise you of the outcome of your application within 10 school days or at the very latest within 15 school days. 

In the event that a place is refused information about the independent appeals process will be detailed in the letter.
