Summer Term Timetable

Key Stage 3

From Wednesday 8th July, we will invite a very small number of Year 7, 8 and 9 students into school for some English, Maths and Science lessons, which will be delivered in line with the government guidance.

This is to help fill in any gaps in the skills and knowledge of these students, which have been identified during the period of remote learning, to ensure that these students are prepared for their Summer Learning and for the return to school in September.

Letters inviting these students to attend, together with details of the arrangements, have already been sent.

Students will attend 2-hour long lessons, either in the morning or afternoon:

•             Morning lesson: 10:30am – 12:30pm

•             Afternoon lesson: 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Arrival & departure

Students are encouraged to walk to school, but if this is not possible please drop them off on Littleworth Road (where they can enter via the gates) and ensure that you observe social distancing.

Students will depart each day via the external doors at the end of the E block one-way system and leave the school site via the Littleworth Road gates.

Clothing

Like the other year groups, students do not need to wear their usual formal smart business wear. They should wear clothes that they feel comfortable in and would be appropriate for a non-uniform day.

What to bring

Students will be expected to bring all of their usual equipment that they will need for each lesson, as staff will be unable to provide them with pens, rulers, calculators etc.

Whilst in school

During the lessons, students will be taught in small groups of no more than ten students. The sessions will take place in the E block classrooms.
