Update on the reopening of our school for all students (23/02/21)
We will be returning to full-time face-to-face teaching at school from Monday, 8th of March. In order to reduce the impact on teaching when we return to the classroom, we have planned for every child to undergo up to 3 lateral flow tests over the next 2 weeks.
We are all ready to go for this new round of testing as you can see from the picture.
As we return we have included a mixture of fun, exciting activities to ensure that students enjoy returning to school. There are a number of events to assess any well-being needs and provide support where needed. We will over the first few lessons unpicking any gaps that have developed in understanding as well as demonstrating areas that they are fully secure in and need more challenge.
The first week back will be completed with a non-uniform day on Friday the 12th March, the proceeds of which will be used to pay for some of the wellbeing activities earlier in the week, including delivering flowers to the local care home and support the Leukaemia trust.

If you have any issues with learning at home please contact us for support.
If you are happy (or maybe even delighted) with what we are all achieving, please take 5 minutes to let OFSTED know on 0300 123 1231
99.4% of Kingsmead children were all actively learning online today (11/02/21) - you did that!
We would all be so grateful.
