At a glance
This is a quick overview of your child’s current attendance as well as their total positive and negative XP.
This is a summary of the timetable for the present day, plus a link to view their full timetable.
Ongoing and recent homework tasks
Kingsmead School does not utilise the homework functionality within GO 4 Schools. You can view your child’s current home learning assignments on Show My Homework, which is accessible via the satchel:one platform.
This table shows your child’s the current report scores or grades in each of their subjects. Where ‘View subject description’ links are available, you can click on the link to see more detailed information about the subject qualification. Updated scores and grades will appear throughout the year.
From September 2020, the ‘Breakdown’ column will list the constituent components of each key stage 4 and 5 subject qualification (i.e. Paper 1, Paper 2, NEA, etc.), together with each component’s grade.
This information is always shown up to the previous day. You will see attendance, absence and unauthorised absence information.
Please note that to authorise absence for medical appointments parents need to call the school absence line and provide the school with a copy of medical evidence, such as the appointment card.
All sanctions are issued via Go4Schools and the first table will be updated with the date, time and location of any after school PREP or R&R (detention) given. The second table displays any PREP or R&R sanctions awaiting allocation. This will normally update the next school day, so please check the system regularly.
The third table shows the last 5 events recorded. Those highlighted green are positive XP (rewards) and those highlighted red are negative XP (sanctions).
You must click on the behaviour event and open it to read the full content.
To view a full history of the current academic year click on the ‘All events in…’ link. The charts beneath this section show behaviour over time; the bar chart shows the weekly scores; and, the line graph shows the cumulative scores for the year.
When your child receives XP, either negative or positive, you will receive an email in the evening. You will then need to log into Go4Schools to view the behaviour event.
Progress and reports
Progress reports show scores or grades for your child, as they were captured by the termly reports, and compares them against their current scores and grades.
At the bottom of each column you can access a report by clicking the ‘View report’ links. You can then also download and print copies of the reports which will be available in PDF format for the whole of the year.
More information on Kingsmead School’s progress reports can be found here.
How do I receive reports?
Reports are now issued via Go4Schools. When your child's report becomes live on Go4Schools, you will receive an email informing you that a new report is now available. You can then view the report and print it if you require a hard copy. You will also receive an email from the school explaining how to access your child's report along with an accompanying letter from your child’s Progress Leader.
What if I change my email address?
Don't forget that if you change your email address, you must inform the school and re-log on as a "first time user". You will then be sent a password by Go4Schools.
