Kingsmead to the rescue...

A massive thank you and well done to some of our Kingsmead students who helped Mr Truby this morning push over 20 cars that got stuck in the ice outside of the school gates. The roads were quite treacherous this morning due to some fresh snow and freezing conditions overnight, but our students, including Tom Brindley, Billy Williams and Jack Wood in Year 11, demonstrated great teamwork, kindness and strength in pushing stuck cars to safety, helping lots of parents who were dropping their children off at school;  As always we are very proud of our students and this is lovely example of their service to the community, well done boys!
