Year 11 Students - Post 16 Options
During the May half term E.Quality Training Centres will be holding open days for any students who have not yet decided what they will be doing post 16.
The Year 11 group photograph will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday 9th May, friendship groups will be taken at lunch time in the main school hall
3C's - Developing skills to achieve high aspirations
A number of Kingsmead students are currently undertaking a Raising Aspirations Programme with Mr Truby called ‘The 3Cs’.

Asher Knight visits Year 7 & Year 8 Kingsmead Students
On Thursday 26th April the students in Years 7 and 8 were treated to a special performance and inspirational talk from the very talented Asher Knight.
Yr 11 supported with the stress of upcoming exams
Kingsmead are putting on lunch time mindfulness sessions aimed at supporting Year 11 as they enter the final important stages of their exam preparation. At lunch time, interested Year 11s can join some staff in understanding how to best manage their emotions

Y8 Students lift the trophy!
Alfie Kingham (C-JDR) and Max Liggins (V-MSP) Year 8 students are celebrating after their well deserved victory at the weekend. Lichfield Rugby Club U13's beat Barton Under Needwood 45-10 in the county championship. Well done boys!
St Georges Day - Monday 23rd April 2018
In honour of St Georges Day, all students who are members of Armed Forces (cadets, air cadets, scouts etc) can wear their uniforms if they choose.
Dance Club is cancelled this evening, but will resume as normal next week.
Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme
A fabulous 2 days for 42 Kingsmead students undertaking their initial training for their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award courtesy of Dave Mayo, Ben Cleverley and the team from Chase Training Solutions.
