Wow – what an amazing first day our Year 7s have had.
We are welcoming back our students back on Tuesday 4th September 2018. We are really looking forward to seeing our previous cohorts and our brand new Year 7s.
Just to confirm:
The highest grades significantly increase as the more able get a good education at Kingsmead. Students have 'blown us away' with their achievement this year, even more so in the context of a shift to the more challenging 1-9 system.
The GCSE results are published this Thursday. This is the first year where the vast majority of exams follow the new 9-1 grading system. It has been shared widely on the news and social media that this change and the large increase in the number of exam
Kingsmead students have risen to the challenge set by the more rigorous and demanding A level exams. Despite the changes to the qualifications nationally, provisional indications are that 82% of grades
Day 2 of activities - from foam slides to murder mystery or water zorbing - we've got something for everyone! Fantastic day and non stop laughter - result!

We certainly couldnt have asked for better weather for this years sports day and the sunshine definitley had a positive effect on the wonderful sportsmanship our students showed one another. The overall winners of the day were the ever competitive Littleton
