Over the last two days, Kingsmead's brand new Year 7 students began their journey with us. On the first day they took part in team building activites and treasure hunts to solve puzzles and gain autographs from staff.

Students and staff at Kingsmead are celebrating their 2017 GCSE results. These results continue a three year trend of improvement in GCSE and A level outcomes, which is particularly pleasing in the ever changing national context.

We were pleased to welcome our new Y7s yesterday. They will be joining us in September however this Wednesday and Thursday play a key part of our extensive transition programme that runs through Y6 and throughout Y7.
At Kingsmead we believe that students who look smart and take pride in their appearance also take pride in their work and their school community.
In hope to raise awareness for mental health this week, Mrs. Sharples and Mrs. Pritchard arranged a ‘giving back’ activity at break time for both Year 12 and 13 students.
